Aims and Scope of R.E.M. (Rekayasa Energi Manufaktur) Journal

Aim

The overarching aim of R.E.M. (Rekayasa Energi Manufaktur) Journal is to serve as a high-quality, interdisciplinary platform for scholars, researchers, and educators in the field of Mechanical Engineering. The journal endeavors to facilitate the global dissemination of innovative and original research in the form of research articles and comprehensive review articles.

We aim to stimulate scientific debate and the reciprocal exchange of ideas and knowledge. It is our conviction that providing a vibrant scholarly platform will greatly contribute to advancing the academic community and will lead to the development of innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.

Scope

Our journal's scope is deliberately comprehensive, with a commitment to embracing the breadth and depth of Mechanical Engineering. This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  1. Energy Conversion: We welcome papers exploring novel methods, technologies, and systems for converting one form of energy into another. This includes thermodynamics, heat transfer, and other energy conversion principles in traditional or emerging contexts.

  2. Renewable Energy: The journal encourages submissions related to the development, implementation, and analysis of renewable energy sources. Papers may address solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, or bioenergy, as well as technologies designed to improve the efficiency and efficacy of renewable energy systems.

  3. Manufacturing: We publish articles investigating both traditional and advanced manufacturing processes, systems, and technologies. This may encompass robotics, automation, additive manufacturing, precision engineering, process optimization, quality control, and more.

  4. Materials and Design Engineering: Our scope encompasses the design, characterization, and application of engineering materials. This includes the study of both traditional materials (metals, ceramics, polymers) and novel materials (composites, biomaterials, nanomaterials), and the relationship between a material’s structure and its properties.

  5. Mechatronics: We encourage contributions related to the synergistic integration of mechanical engineering with electronics and intelligent computer control in the design and manufacture of industrial products and processes.

R.E.M. Journal is committed to fostering high-quality research and maintaining rigorous academic standards. We warmly welcome the contributions of the global community of Mechanical Engineering scholars, researchers, and educators, and look forward to propelling forward the boundaries of our collective knowledge.
